This Stevens manufactured fourth variation breech block is for the Favorite single shot falling block rimfire rifle in 25 Stevens which has the 3rd variation (6 o' clock style) extractor and the 3rd variation lever with the bushing and plunger assembly and is in very good condition exhibiting a grayish brown patina with light wear and possibly a few spots of rust. The fourth variation breech block requires a minimum forward center space width of .210" wide to accomodate the thickness of the third variation extractor.  (file photo)
